LET THEM LOVE

Dear God let them be happy always.

Let them love as much as I loved him

Help her to be what he wants each day

Let nothing about their love ev'r grow dim

Let the good in both shine very bright

Bring happiness, success, and a calm

To a life once as bitter as night

And keep their relationship always warm.

Let Them Love was written in 1972 for Jim and Marie. Certainly I wanted them to be happy no matter how unfair some things had been to me. What hurt me the most was how my children were hurt just because they were my children. When your children are harmed it hurts too much to cry.
