Mom experimented.
It is who she was, and underneath the fog and movement impairment, it is still who she is. The last provider that believed she had decision making authority emphasized to me that she would not experiment on mom. It took a small miracle for the court to declare that, as mom’s daughter and guardian, I could execute decision making on mom’s behalf. What that well intentioned provider did not understand was that she was denying mom’s right to have her lifestyle and choices honored and upheld.
